Brooke Gruwell. Let me just start out by saying that mass media has definitely taken over! I am a newcomer to blogging but I surprisingly love it. Now a little bit about me. I am a freshman at Cal State Fullerton with a major in Communications. My emphasis is still undecided but I am leaning towards photojournalism. I can not tell anyone how in love I am with Photography. It all started when I took photography my sophmore year of high school and loved my teacher. From there on out, I continued to take two more years including advanced photography. Because I completed three years of photography, my father bought me a Canon Rebel camera that I admire. My hobby is now easier and more fun with my own camera. Ansel Adams is by far my favorite photographer. If I don’t pursue photography as a career, I at least want to travel the world while taking photos as a hobby. My dream is to have one of my photographs publicized in National Geographic. Short depth of field is by far my most favorite photography technique to use. It amazes me how close and personal a camera lens can get.  The detail in the focal point and the texture that is enhanced because it throws everything else off in the photo.  When talking in photography terms, a larger aperture was used when I shot this.
